Angela is a problem-solver and also the Founder of the Road to Economic Empowerment Enterprises. Road to Economic Empowerment Enterprises is a 501(c3) non profit organization that collaborates with those from the business community to provide financial and mental wellness training within underserved and marginalized communities. The Road to Economic Empowerment Enterprises offer two seminars: The Road to Economic Empowerment Financial Education Seminar and The Cost of Caregiving: Alzheimer's and Caregivers Financial Health Symposium.
The Road to Economic Empowerment Financial Education Symposium helps individuals in the areas of (1) Homebuying, (2) Managing Finances, and (3) Investing in real estate to create more wealth. The Financial Education Seminar brings together investors, buyers, sellers, financial lenders, and teaches individuals on how to make wise financial decisions and create generational wealth. The Cost and Business of Caregiving Financial Health Symposium is a Mental and Financial Wellness Symposium. The purpose of this Symposium is to bring to light (1) the importance of self - care,(2) explore topics related to general health, financial wellness, and self care, (3) assist caregivers with community resources, (4) engage the community, (5) help caregivers better manage their finances, and (6) learn the latest research and development towards finding a cure for Alzheimer's. The Symposium is a platform where we bring in a task force of experts who specialize in the areas of financial and legal planning, elderlaw, clinical studies, nutrition, veterans benefits, and more. We also partner with various agencies like AARP, Alzheimer's Association, Dallas Area Agency in Aging, Friends Place of Desoto, and others to provide resources for caregivers to explore.
Angela wears a number of hats such as real estate agent, writer, speaker, caregiver, educator and community advocate just to name a few. She is also the Founder of the Road to Economic Empowerment Training and Events. R2EE Training and Events is a consulting firm that offers advice and training in cultural diversity, equity, and leadership. Its focus is in helping leaders be more culturally sensitive by raising and changing the culture from a human resources management approach.
The mission of Road to Economic Empowerment is "Providing strategies on reshaping the culture and building wealth to those that those that are called to serve." We believe in the etymology of the word wealth which means "well being."
